First Saturdays - Invasive Plant Management Workdays
Join DOEE staff on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM to remove invasive plants on and near Kingman + Heritage Islands and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail. Please note that we will not hold First Saturdays on certain holiday weekends. Find all upcoming sessions on the Events Calendar. Advance registration is required. Third Saturdays - Day of Service (Trash Cleanups)
Join the Kingman Rangers and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM to remove trash on and near Kingman + Heritage Islands and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail before it makes its way into the Anacostia River.
