Event Request Form

Thank you for your interest in hosting an event or activity on Kingman and Heritage Islands. If you’re a teacher or school administrator interested in scheduling a field trip, please email kingmanisland@dc.gov.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a request to host your event on the Islands through this form.

  2. Receive approval from DOEE for your proposed event. 

  3. Plan your event. If your event is open to the public, please coordinate with DOEE to promote your event through our digital channels. 

  4. Share the outcome of your event and any relevant data with DOEE through a short post-event form. We'd love to see any data or photos from your event to help us understand who you reached and the impact of your program. We hope to use this information to better understand who is engaging with the Island, showcase the amazing programs led by you and other partners, and improve outreach and future programs. Depending on the type of your event, consider including a photo consent waiver at registration. Photos taken at events with consent waivers may be submitted to include on Kingman + Heritage Island digital materials, like the website, social media, and newsletters.
