Third Saturdays - Day of Service with Living Classrooms

Join Living Classroom staff along with the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) to remove trash on and near Kingman + Heritage Islands and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail before it makes its way into the Anacostia River.

We will provide pickers, gloves, bags and instruction. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Please also bring a reusable water bottle and a bag to keep your belongings in.

We will meet at the RFK Lot 6 entrance to Kingman + Heritage Islands (575 Oklahoma Ave NE). Find information about transportation and parking options here.

You will be asked to sign a waiver and media release form while registering for the event. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you have any questions, please contact Sarah Aldridge at SAldridge@livingclassroomsdc.org.

This workday is part of a monthly series. Discover other upcoming sessions below.
