Monthly Cleanup with the Kingman Island Rangers and WABA Trail rangers

Join the Kingman Island Rangers and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) Trail Rangers to remove trash on and near Kingman + Heritage Islands and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail before it makes its way into the Anacostia River.

We will provide pickers, gloves, bags and instruction. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Please also bring a reusable water bottle and a bag to keep your belongings in.

We will meet at the RFK Lot 6 entrance to Kingman + Heritage Islands (575 Oklahoma Ave NE). Find information about transportation and parking options here.

You will be asked to sign a waiver and media release form while registering for the event. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

If you have any questions, please contact Weekend Ranger Talia Linneman at TLinneman@livingclassroomsdc.org.

The Kingman Rangers Program is operated by Living Classrooms through a grant funded by the District’s Department of Energy and Environment.

This workday is part of a monthly series.
