Join DOEE staff to remove invasive plants on and near Kingman + Heritage Islands and the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.

DOEE will provide tools, gloves, and instruction. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray.

We will meet at the RFK Lot 6 entrance to Kingman + Heritage Islands (575 Oklahoma Ave NE). Find information about transportation and parking options here.

You will be asked to sign a waiver and media release form when you arrive at the event. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
